Introduction to QuickBooks Pro
“The easiest small business bookkeeping
system” around. Perfect for small business. You will actually set up a
company; beginning with setting up your customers, vendors, and the items you
sell. Learn how to handle your bill
paying and invoicing. Learn how to track overdue invoices and amounts. Learn how
to write and print checks.
Prerequisite:
Basic typing, Windows and mouse skills.
Intermediate QuickBooks Pro
Learn how to track and pay sales tax. Learn
how to set up employees and handle payroll using the built-in tax tables. Learn
how to make payments for your payroll liabilities to the State. Master preset
business reports and learn how to track finances and trends with
up-to-the-minute reports and graphs.
Prerequisite:
Intro to QuickBooks or prior QuickBooks experience.
Advanced QuickBooks Pro
Learn how to Create Job Estimates and apply
markups. Learn how to incorporate “time-tracking” by applying employee’s
actual hours and billing them directly to an invoice. Learn how to setup
multiple jobs and get the reports that you need, including summary and detail of
any job/project. Learn how to use the Company Write Letter wizard to create
original letters for sales or collections. Discover QuickBooks archived letter
library, and filter feature, print sales/collection/quotes/follow-up letters via
Microsoft Word. Learn to Synchronize QuickBooks with your Management Contact
software such as Microsoft Outlook or Act.
Prerequisite: Must
have Introduction & Intermediate Level QuickBooks classes and an
understanding of Microsoft Word is advisable.
